I would like to design general purpose 8051 Kit which should be compatible with FPGA, which can be used to interface  stepper motor, keyboard ,temperature sensor and  some common applications.
which will be the perfect combination of Microcontroller chips(Intel/philips/Atmel) and other components required to design a kit. chips should be cost efficient and high speed.
