I have a 1995 Chrysler Le Baron convertible.  Everytime it rains, the carpet on the drivers side in the front and the back are soaked.  It even happened when we put a cover over the top of the car.  Appreciate any suggestions.

I was told the undercoating has something plugged up. Mine does the same thing, and its a 93. My water is in the wheel well and runs down the frame of the door. Into the back floor board. We have had the carpet and back seat pulled out and molding removed and no trails of water or rust.We are drilling a couple of holes under the car, where we hear the water swishing. So it will drain before it travels to the floor.
There is plug under the carpet in the back floor board, that will help it drain from the floor board. How it gets there who knows?

Have a 94 lebaron convertible.  Had same problem.  Mechanics found crack in firewall so when it rained the water would run down the windshield and in thru the crack.  filled the floorboards with water.  check the firewall.

I also have a 1995 Le Baron GTC convertible and have a problem when it rains.  You could have the windows re-aligned and that would solve the problem.  However, if after you have the windows re-aligned and you drive with the top down and windows up, you will continue to have a problem.  The only other option is to carry a towel in the backseat and if it looks like rain, cover the interior at the sections that would be effected by the rain.  All in all, I love my Le Baron convertible and a little leakage every now and then is okay, as the benefits of the car outweigh a little water.

There is a valve located on a short vertical wall on the underside of the car just in front of the rear wheel.  It is hard to see because it is made of a small strip of black rubber that sits against the vertical ledge of the undercarriage. If you look under the covertable top when it is down you can see a plastic tube that runs to this outlet. If the space between the rubber and the frame gets clogged with dirt the water cannot escape and backs up untill it spills out onto the floor.  All you need to do is open this valve and clean out the dirt and the problem is solved.
