What are the C++ design principles? (i.e. extensibility, portability e.t.c)Please include accompanying code if possible.

Most important feature of c++ is its procedural plus object-oriented nature. The procedural approach inherited form c provides it execution
efficiency and object-oriented features: inheritance, polymorphism, concept of classes,
encapsulation etc. and better file handling ability make it the language of great importance.
