Currently I am on a L1-B Visa and have got an offer of employment from an another company in the United States. I am a Canadian Citizen. The new position will entail being in the USA for 1- 1-1/2 years and then a relocation back to Canada. I am assuming that the best course of action would be to apply for a TN Visa...is that correct? I have an undergraduate degree in business. Can I apply for a TN visa with retaining my L1B in the event that the TN is denied? I am under the assumption that a H1-B Visa will be more difficult to obtain. Is it difficult to get a TN visa? Also, the comapny whom I have an offer with is in the oil and gas field (field that I am also currently in, however I am not an engineer and it is a sales job. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
