I've found that replacing the fuel pump is the best solution to that problem.

Just replaced the fuel pump in my 1994 Dodge Dakota.  Cost for the pump was $267.00.  Labor was $221.00.  Reason for repair:  Truck stalled and would not keep running.  It would start once in a while; but stalled.  Eventually it would not start at all.  Had to have it towed to a garage where they diagnosed a bad fuel pump and replaced.  Runs fine now.
