You might want to see if your relay switch is out, or check ground wiring, s-10 have a problem with ground wires getting loose, and also relay switches like to go out, if it isn't any of that thenyou might want to take your steering whell apart and see if you have in pinched wires, Chevorlets have a problem with the tilt wheel, sometimes people's lights wont turn on or off and sometimes it is the same with windsheild wipers.....but if you are talking about your rear motor then it is most likely that you have some bare wires that are against your rear defrost.

there is a park switch which prevent the wipers from just stopping in the middle of your windshield.  it runs basically parallel to the on-off switch.

it inside the wiper housing.

The park switch in the wiper motor is bad, the only way to replace it is replacing the complete motor asmy.
