I have a 1976 Two dollar bill that is a star note, and a 1928 Twenty dollar bill.Are they worth anything?

I have a $2 bill 1976 series, mint condition with a 13 cent stamp affixed.  There is no postal stamp.  Is this worth anything?

There are very valuble 1976 2$ star notes.

Especially the I series.

These are very collectable.

Don't just get one price, but ask around.

Check on ebay to get an idea for pricing

yeah, $20, unless you decided to scan it like pete up there wonts you too. then it's worthless exept for evidence against you, it's a federall crime to make photo copies of money. so the best thing you can do is distory the money, and throw your computer down into a casm.
at that point you can move down to mexico and try to start a new life there.

#24 I have a bill with a '*' before or after the serial number. What does that mean?

The star after the serial number is a replacement note that was issued to take the place of a defective note that was discovered...Since it's too cost-prohibitive to re-issue the same serial number, it's easier to print up a bunch of star notes and then use them to fill the stack once the defects are pulled out. Most star notes don't command a premium unless they are uncirculated, and/or have a real interesting serial number....

Sorry to post this here but I can't find how I an ask a whole new/different question... I collect the state quarters both the P and D minting but I still need some before  this years.. anyone else collect these and/or interested in honest exchanging?
