Four and one-half months ago, my 4-1/2 yr. old male Dal developed raised, red, flaky bumps on his back area, and limited hair loss. Some are as large as half dollars, some as small as a dime. He has become extremely ticklish now when petted around these areas. He's been to three different vets, all are perplexed as to what it is he has. He's been treated for food allergies, staff infections, ring worm and mange. Blood work has been done. Still no answers. Next step is a skin biopsy. Looking for a fungus, or a serious disease, like Lupus, to name one. Anyone ever have a similar experience with their Dal? IF so, what was the outcome? Anyone have advice?
