I am trying to figure out whether to continue eating TVP (TSP).  I have heard that it contains MSG (through a natural process), which supposedly is an neurotoxin, and therefore is unhealthy.

Is it true that TVP is unhealthy?  Thank you.

TVP (texurized vegetable protien) is not the same as HVP (hydrolyzed vegetable protein). HVP is what contains a lot of MSG.  TVP does not, so it's perfectly fine.
