I Have a 3 month old puppy, who will poop, turn around and eat her poop.  Or she will find old poop in the yard and eat it. Why does she do this and what can I do to stop this before I go crazy (This is so gross). Thanks in advance for any advise. My email is lolitabast1@msn.com

Put Tabasco sauce on the poop. My friend's beagle puppy did the same thing and that's what the vet suggested. It worked.

Puppies eat their poop when the food is too greasy or they are not absorbing the nutrients. Many times in puppies who eat "premium" dog food the food is coming out with almost the same nutrition as it went in. Feed your puppy by "thirds" Make your own food with 1/3 meat 1/3 grains or rice or potatoes & 1/3 vegtables. This will stop the poop eating & make your dog healthy as well.
