Our new vet said to look at the dry food
package. Our mini doxie is 16 weeks old.
She said to take him off the "wet" food
and vitamins...that nutri stuff in the tube
and just feed him dry food.

I think this is something the owner has
to monitor.  Dogs are very individual, too.

I realy don't have an answer but a question my Dachshund is around 11 weeks old and he eats all the time . he looks like a stuffed tick. and he weights around 3 lbs. I don't want to be a meenie but, he just won't stop and then he looks deformed cause he has eaten to much.

Dacshunds are suppose to eat a cup and a half a day. Always feed them purina or iams to get a healthy dog. Feeding them anything like ol roy is just killing them.
