I know that if a wrong air filter (after market)is used on a vehicle, then it could damage the sensors, but can it affect the throttle body?  (Car was only driven for approx. In five from the time air filter was put on to the time the car died, the car was only driven for 2,000 miles...and the car was not starting right for about 1 1/2 months prior to not running right.)  Any suggestions?
