I need to know if it's legal to sunbathe naked in the privacy of your own home if you are behind a privacy fence? What measures would you have to take to ensure this is legal and protect yourself against any false accusations? And is it right for a landlord of a mobile home park to tell you to take down such a privacy fence depriving you of sunbathing privately? I need to know what my rights are as someone who desires privacy. Thanks!

I think that it should be legal because it is not like evrebody can see you,me personally wouldn't do it because I've got pervy neighbours.IF my girlfriend wanted to do it I WOULD DO IT IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

It depends on local anti-nudity laws and if someone complains because they can view you. There was a case thrown out of court because the neighbor had to stand on a ladder in order to see over the fence. Thus, sun bathing naked in the privacy of your own property is not illegal. Sunbathing naked on most federal "wilderness" lands is usually tolerated. An exception, anywhere, is if you are exposing yourself intentionally in a manner that would be considered lewd and lecivious behavior.   I've seen Forest Service signs cautioning hikers "Warning beyond this point you may encounter nude sunbathers"
