In Christianity, it is stated that God created the world in 6 days and rested on the seventh. What does the Quran say about this? I have been searching for an answer to a challenge posed to me by a Christian and I cannot find the appropriate passage in the Quran that addresses this issue...

Any help would be appreciated.

IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT A DAY IS 24 HOURS BECAUSE LATER IN THE OLD TESTAMENTS AND THE NEW TESTAMENTS IT SAYS THAT A DAY FOR THE LORD IS LIKE A 1000YEARS.

Salmaan,

In the Qurran it says that Allah (god) created the world. God was always there, in the world, right from the beginning.

This is all that I know.

Anum Akhtar.
