We have just got a GSD puppy & one of her ears won't stand up. People mention a vitamin deficiency? Does anyone know what could be causing this? Any known experiences like this?

dont worry there is nothing to worry about if you look at most gsd pups you will often see their ears leaning to one side or not up
when your pup gets older it will straighten up. pups limbs grow at different speeds it is nothing to worry about

We raise GSDsand like Ron said it's nothing to worry about if they are floppy or won't stand. One thing though is DO NOT rub their ears. This can damage the cartilage and then they may not ever stand up. As tempting as it is to rub and scratch a new puppy's ears please resist. After about 4-6 months or after they have been standing up for quite a while it is then ok to pet and rub them to your hearts desire. = )

We have a GSD female that is nearly 3 yrs. old. Her ears did amazing stuff for the first 12 wks. After that they stood up great. Just need to give them time.
