I want to get a tattoo on my inner lip. I just wanted to get a little understanding about how to clean it afterwards. Just use mouthwash and clean it out often? Or is their a special type that I should use or something?

A self applied shotgun blast to the frontal lobe area should finish it off nicely. That area apparently isn't working anyhow.  Why not go ahead and have your entire lower intestinal track tattooed . Then you will have something to look at from your vantage point,  Starbucks

well, I just got my inner lip tattooed with Gundo in script with a G like Guinness. As for aftercare. I dont think there is any. it is in your mouth, I guess you could put A&D or tattoo goo on it if you want. It is similar to a kanker sore or cut. swelling goes down in about 2 hours. We will have to see if it sets in the inner dermis very well.

i recently had my inner lip tattood. you don't really need to do anything for aftercare except practice good oral hygiene (which hopefully is regular for you) the mouth is such a naturally clean enviroment that it heals up quick. one tip is that whatever you are getting make sure that it has some space because the ink can spread out a little so letters or whatever can bleed together.

If I was you I would not get a tattoo on your inner lip, because I got one two days ago and it has already faded so bad you can barely read it

there really is no aftercare for a lip tattoo.. it fades quite fast though... it requires many touch ups about 2 weeks or so apart before it starts to last longer...
