I can't answer your question but would like to know if you do decide to breed your male.  I have a female I would like to breed in about 6 to 9 months.  She is a large yorkie and very very healthy.  You would not get tiny puppies but you can rest assured you would get healthy ones.  We should compare bloodlines for the future.

AKC Guidelines require the male to be at least 7 months  and the female has to be at least 8 months or you can not register the litter.  Its best to wait until your male is at least 1 yr. I always wait until my females 2nd heat, makes for a better mother dog.  Good Luck

I would also like to know since I have  a gorgeous AKC registered male yorkie I would like to stud for a puppy. He is 7 months old and a little over 4 lbs. Vet seems to think he will weigh about 5 lbs. I am not sure if 7 months is considered full grown. Do you know that too?

I am currently looking for a stud Yorkie for my female and my criterias would most hopefully be a male that is smaller than your female (to facilitate labor), a proven male, one that is ATLEAST a yr ( so you know that they are healthy and can live that long)and ofcourse one that is healthy and good looking.  I think professional breeders like ones with a couple yrs on them ?...
