How do we get hedgies to uncurl?

How do we get hedgies to uncurl?

blow gently on the hedgehog's face (or at least the quills covering its face). It will calm down, the snuffling becomes more of a sniffing, and it'll unroll and squint at you while snifing the air. if you are gentle from here on out, it won't even curl back up, but will start to run around, so be ready if it tries to jump out of your hands.
