Children's Benadryl, twice a day for three days.
Weight determines the amount. I use the liquid in lieu of pill. I give him some cheese after.

it is definitely allergies, and with spring around the corner, it will stay that way. i have two small dogs (pug & chihuahau), and at this time of year they dont even want to go outside. their eyes get red and puffy, and start to water a lot. just keep the dog healthy with fresh water and a good clean bed and it will be fine.

It could be allergies, but watery eyes are also symptoms of other problems in dogs, especially small dogs, mostly revolving around the tear ducts and the third eye-lid.

Please take your dog to a vet to find out what is going on, when it comes to the eyes, don't wait, especially with small breeds (who tend to have more eye problems than most larger breeds).  You wouldn't wait to go around thinking your dog has allergies only to find out that he is now blind from a problem that was completely correctable.

Hey, The best way to find out if it is allergies or not is try giving your yorkie poo some baby strength robotussin usually 1 mg serving per lb

It is perfectly safe for the dog. I have a Yorkie Poo who is allergic to his shots and I give him robotussin before we bring him and she is fine. Our vet recommended it. The Poodle in our yorkie poos make them have very sensitive eyes so the first place you will see an allergy or infection is in there eyes.
