2001 $1 G00319900* isn't listed in the Standard Catalog of US Paper Money. It doesn't list any star notes for Chicago in 2001 at all, yet it does list star notes for other districts, why is that? I pulled a 2001 Chicago star from circulation, and I'd like to check it's value. Thanks in advance for you help.

Hi..series 2001 star notes for the Chicago Federal Reserve weren't produced until July of 2003.Series year on currency doesn't always  mean the year that it was printed.I suspect your reference book was printed before July 2003.
