My JRT hides big time when she hears loud noises, storms, fireworks. Under the bed or anywhere else dark. I made her a little hide out in my closet now she goes in there.

A dog's hearing is much more sensitive than ours is. The storms sound extra loud to him. Try putting a small DROP (not a lot) of mineral oil in each ear when it is storming. It should help muffle the sound.

My JRT is almost 2 years old and he still gets scared of sudden loud noises. He now is able to keep from hiding behind me, but now he just takes his ques from me.

My JRT is scared of lawn mowers, trucks and vacume cleaner sounds, hes sitting with me now and hes shaking non stop wat should i do sometimes it looks like his goin 2 die?????

My JRT is obsessed with his ball. He isn't happy until we throw it. Not for just a few minutes, but that ball is all he thinks about. He even will turn down a treat over chasing or catching the ball. I have finally gotten him to follow commands for treats but you have to tell him you are tired and don't want to play ball, that just disappoints him. Any answers?
