look at finance.yahoo.com. You can obtain the evolution of dong-$ during 3, 6, 12, 21 months.

Vietamese dong is very tough and you must chew to get the right texture for swallowing.

One American dollar = VND 16.000 (Sixteen thousand Vietnamese Dong)

A Dollar = 16,000 VND (sixteen thousand VND)
A UERO = 21,000 VND  (Twenty one thousand VND)
A Pound = 31,000 VND (thirty thousand VND)
