IF "DECIPLE OF THE VAULT" IS DESTROYED DURING ONE PHASE CAN...

IF "DECIPLE OF THE VAULT" IS DESTROYED DURING ONE PHASE CAN YOU STILL YOU HIS AFFECT THAT PHASE

no. phases of the game indicate a sort of break point for playing spells.

Now, while he is being destroyed, you can still do things, provided you have the means. you can still play while 'the stack' of spells is waiting to resolve.

if he dies (errr...is dying) and you still can play spells, use creature abilities, etc. then his ability would still work.

as soon as he goes to the graveyard, and after you pass up any chances you might have to play spells, etc. then you cant use his triggered ability anymore.
