you need to feed her cottage cheese the last 3 weeks of her pregnancy to keep her calcium up and we she is nursing start feeding the puppies puppy chow watered down at 3 weeks with your finger and they will get full and also let them nurse and she will not have hanging sacks. I am new to breeding to but I have a good mentor that is highly recommended. so if you have a  question I might be able to help good luck my email is mickeymouse_724@yahoo.com

Milk is not good for any dog at any time. It is better to feed her a diet formulated for puppies and supplement with hard-boiled eggs. This will produce robust and healthy pups, and help keep the weight on her after she delivers them.

Diluted canned milk will prevent loose stools. Never give cows milk.
