Help, my chihuahua is fine one minute and can barely walk the next. she becomes stiff leged, walks on her toes, will just sit with problems getting up, uncordinated etc. She is alert and playful during this time, ie. doesn't appear to be seizures. She just has trouble moving. She gets this on and off through out the day. We though it might be nervousness or hypo at first but I don't think so. She is a good eater, alert, She is 3 months old, weighs 2lbs. and it's not hypoglycemia. We had all the tests run for that. PLEASE help if you have ANY insight. thanks, jaime and "frankie"

Take her to the vet ASAP.  Maybe she is having slipped kneecaps, which could cause her to suddenly be unable to walk, sit or get up.  This is more likely if it is mostly her hind legs which are the problem.  In any case, take her to the vet.
