i have a ten week old chi. first off he has a bad flea...

i have a ten week old chi. first off he has a bad flea problem. ive looked at the petstore and other stores but everything for flea and tick problems is twelve weeks and over. i dont want him to suffer two whole weeks if not neccesary. the other question is his ears are still floppy. i know it could be a couple more months before they stand up, if they ever do. but his cartilage is not hard at all. does this mean his chances of having standing ears slim to none? i love him none the less but was just curious as to how he'll develop.

Your vet can give you something to get the fleas off, I'm surprised (s)he didn't do that during the initial visit.  

As for the ears, they'll be fine.  Chihuahua ears pop up all by themselves 90+% of the time, give it another month or two.
