I have purchased a ‘snoopy-look-alike’ cockapoo from a breeder when he was only six weeks old.  I took him back to see the breeder and informed her that our 4 months old puppy has undescended testicles, as per advise by our vet.  The breeder has refused to accept the fact and insisted that she has never heard of it.  Now my puppy is 9 months old and still has no balls.  My question is should I go ahead to have the complicated yet costly operation? Or, should I wait for the miracle of the balls to drop?

On my first visit to the Vet with my cockapoo the Dr. was very relieved to see that his testicles had dropped. Just judging by her reaction I would say it is not that uncommon for a dog to have undescended testicles. She told me that the fact his balls had dropped was great as it saves on future surgery, and a more complicated neutering process. It's a shame that the breeder of your dog is ignoring the facts.
