What is the difference between Test Plan and Test Scenario and similarly between Test case and test scenario

Test plan is something done before the testing is done, that is to test the every functionality. And test cases is prepared depending on the test plan

test plan is the testing the functionality of the system. Test Case is used to test the behavior of the System as per the design requirements.

Test plan is a Document consists scope,objectives of ur software testing effort
Test case is a document consits set of inpuct functions where we use to check expected value and actual value
test scenarios to tell the test case controller which test cases to process and how to process them. The scenarios are stored in a scenario file. The file may contain one or more scenarios, and they may be cross-referenced. The file is written is a simple, but powerful, scenario language.

From usecase u will prepare the test scenario and we will prepare the test case from the test scenario.

1. Test Plan - A Test plan contains or defines, in precise, the Test Strategy, Testing Methods, Resources, Schedule, Test Entry/Exit Criteria, Scope of testing, Functionalities to be Tested etc... That is, all these are defined in terms of the the application to be tested.

2. A Test Scenario is a way to ensure that every user flows will be properly tested. A Test Scenario may contain one or more Test Cases. Ex: Successfully performing a function C, after doing functions 'A' and 'B'. Here, let's assume that performing A, B and C are given in each Test Cases. So, the Test Scenario is the successful execution of the Test Case C after executing the Test Cases containing the functions A, B, in a successive manner.

Test plan :- its a huge document , which indicated the scedulling the further testing processes

Test scenario :- steps to stimulate those bugs are called as , part of test cass

Test case :- it includes the i/p which you given for testing & also mention the expected result , & also verify that i/p & o/p are matched properly or not ... all these deatils are availbel in test case

the test plan defines how to test,who  to test what to test and when to test incase of the test case defines to test the entire functionality of the software the test scenario is the collection of the test cases

A test case is a document that describes an input, action, or event and an expected response, to determine if a feature of an application is working correctly. On the other hand, a software project test plan is a document that describes the objectives, scope, approach, and focus of a software testing effort.

test plan is a document that describes the ojectives, scope,approach,and focus of a software testing effort. test senario is nothing but a gropu of test cases we can call scenario. test case is a document that describes input action and expected response to determine if a feature of an application is working correctly. a test case should contain particulars such as test case identifier, test case name,objective,test conditions,setup,input data,steps and expected results

Test case : is a set of test data and test scripts and their respective results.A test case validates one or more system requirements and generates a Pass/Fail

Test Scenario : A set of Test cases that ensures that the business process flows are tested from end to end.They can be a series of tests

A test plan typically contains a detailed understanding of what the eventual work flow will be.
like test items, features to be tested, features not to be tested, approach,Item pass fail criteria,etc.

Test Plan:
- All the table(Version ,Revision History, Approval  Table
-Introduction(Purpose,objective,scope ,Reference doc)
-Test Type(GUI,Functional,Module integration,)
- Input and output criteria.
- Features to be tested and not to be tested.
- Testing approach
- Item pass/Fail criteria (Bug reporting, suspension and resumption criteria)
-  Test Delivery
- Testing environment
-Staff and Training needs.
-Schedule(Risk and contingencies)
-Open issue table.
Test scenario: is a description of test cases that ensures business logic and cover the end to end flow.
