her vagina will move by her butthole and swell up and starts to turn red or even bleed this is the best time to find her a mate and breed her

my dog gets a swollen vulva and bleeding for the first week ,which is infertile and she gets whiney and more lovable.

A dogs heat is about three weeks.Her vulva will get big and swollen for first week.The second week she will start bleeding.And the third week is when she will stand for the male..Hope this helps..Sunshine
