In about 70% off all cases of Epilepsy there is no known causes.

I no this because well i used to have epilepsy myself when i was young i am now 13 and researching about it for an assignment. Mum says i could get epilepsy back.

In the majority of cases no cause for epilepsy can actually be found. In rare cases it is caused by brain tumours or deformities, and some sufferers appear to inherit it. Apart from that there is no apparent cause.
