hey im 14 years old and my mom is real cool about piercing and tattoos. she just has to check it out first and meet the guy. i already had my ears pierced 9 times so i knew i could handle it. I found a place that would do it. i was real nervous and my friend couldnt come in back with me but my mom did so it was ok. i was nervous but guy who did the piercing was real nice and told me what he was gonna do and that if i had any problems to tell him. then he took the needle out of the plastic wrap stuff and showed it to me. it was really long but o well. i closed my eyes when i saw the clamp and i started to tense up. i was ready for the pain and then i said r u done yet and he goes im now screwin on the other ball. i didnt feel a thing. i didnt even twitch. i only had one little infection but that was like 1 day and it was because i started to wear my hair in my face. ive had it for 2 months and tomorrow im goin back to see the guy and have him pierce my belly button. about that tattoo thing too, one of my moms friends had a tattoo of a moon on her stomach and when she got pregnant it got soooooo big. really be sure about that one!!

Consider getting a tattoo on your back, because my friend's sister has tattoos ALL over her back, but they're BEAUTIFUL, and if you one on your lower back, girls, they look REALLY cute with low cut jeans! But I'm not exactly an expert on body modifications...I am currently 12 years old, but I study body body modifications, my eyebrow is pierced, and my ear is pierced just 3 times, lobes and an industrial. I plan on getting more, I AM A WIMP FOR PAIN!!!!! TRUST ME, but the eyebrow piercing wasn't that bad, he put clamps on, it was really uncomfortable, and he put the needle through, my friend said it was REALLY gross, because a narrow sharp object was hanging through her friend's face, but I LOVE my piercings, and if you get scared, it'll actually hurt more, I was scared but it wasn't that bad, I'm a wimp! Well my 13th birthday is in 2 days and i wanted to get my navel pierced but u know im 13 and its really not the most appropriate for me!!! maybe in a couple of years!!!! well i was thinking about me nose or eyebrow and my mom is totally cool with it and will go with and support me!! well i don't really like my nose and i don't want to draw attention to it so i decided if i get something pierced it will be my eyebrow. my neighbor patsy has hers pierced and she just took her lip piercing out...don't get ur lip dont it can cause gum recesitation and chipped teeth and a bunch of probs...aftr a short to long time. i am worried a bit about having two little dots scarred on my eyebrow id i take it out but i will have to deal(u arent always scarred though i have my ears pierced twice on each side and am getin my cartilage so just do what ur comfortable with!!! oh ya id advise against the tattoo because unless u r sure of what u want its likely ull hate it later...my mom and aunt have that problem!!! hi im 14 and my mom is super cool about getting anything she says ur body ur desires GO FOR IT shes cool but shes a hippie and gets me bongs for my b-day pressent anyways i have a tattto on my stomach VERY small on my navel and have navel pierced and surface piercings if i were to get pregnant POOOFF i would have sreched everything oh well anywho i would get ur labret done i love mine fun to play with and dont get it done on the side then u cant put like spikes in it looks wierd soo and eyebrowl piercings i dont have one of those yet but ill go soon ill i need is 50$ and i can get more and IT HURTS LIKE A BIOTCH labret piercings but then it doesnt but its sour like hell and swelled up .... HAPPY PIERCING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO FOR IT u only live once

alright, genious'. first off, tattoos. permanent yes, but utterly delightful, yes. obviously if you get one on your stomich then get pregnant its going to stretch with your body. it doesnt take a retard to figure that out. they are "painfull" but it all depends on your pain tolerance. most people just describe it as uncomfertable. outlining i belive 'hurts' more than colouring, however, ive known quite a bit of people who say they can sleep while getting a tattoo, that its comferting, and that its numbing. second, piercings. not permanent, so why would it matter? you are able to take it out, to change it, ect. im thinking if your haveing trouble deciding between and piercing and a tattoo get a piercing, woman. and the question if it hurts? OF COURSE IT HURTS. are you stupid? your getting a needle and a metal bar shoved in your body. nothing hurts more or less because it depends on PERSONAL PAIN TOLERANCE. i have many piercings which ive done all myself. it hurts alot more to do it yourself with a sewing needle then perfessionally with a hollow needle that takes skin out of the hole rather than just shoving skin in and forcing a hole. honestly people, use your brains.

I had my eyebrow pierced freehanded with an 18g needle and it looked fine for about a week but then it bruised up. Looked like i was wearing eye makeup of a pretty black and blue. The piercing itself didn't really hurt just two little pops through the skin and he slid in the barbell. Nothing about it hurt and after having it for almost a month now the bruising is almost totally gone and i have since changed the jewelery a few nights ago. One thing i recommend when changing jewelery is to put a little neosporin on the jewelery before sliding it in. It helps make it slide right on it especially if you have externally threaded. Just be sure to wash it with antibacterial soap once a day and if it gets infected do it a few times a day and it should clear it up. Also if you buy your jewelery online ask for a Mill Certificate along with your order and make sure you're getting what they say you are.

I'm either getting a tattoo, eyebrow piercing, or lip piercing. If I get a tattoo, I don't know what I want. I wanted one on my stomach, but if I got pregnant wouldn't it stretch out my tattoo? I don't know if I should get a piercing for now until I know FOR SURE what I want. If I got a eyebrow or lip piercing, do either of them hurt?

yes if you got a tattoo on your stomach and then got pregnant, it will stretch.

It's not to much that the tat will stretch, but just imagen having one on a flabby stomache cause not everyone's go back to normal. Think about it, would you still like to show it off?

if you aren't sure of what you want, you should get a piercing, cause if you change your mind, you can always take it off, but with a tattoo, there's no way back...

and for u ppl who sed the eybrow ring ddint hurt you at all .. wow u must be tuff or i must be a little whimp cuz it hurt me lol the guy did mine freehanded without the clamp and then poked it thru like 3 times in different spots cuz he couldnt find where he marked the spot .. its was nuts lol =D

wait until after a pregnancy if your going to get pregnant to get a tattoo especially on your stomach. you don't wanna get it before you pregnancy on your stomach because of the fact you stomach might not go back to normal and you tattoo will be stretched and not too feminine let me tell you what! as for the peircings i just got my eyebrow peirced and it didn't hurt that bad and was over before i knew it! but as for getting your lip peirced its gonna hurt! but just clench your fist and it will be over before you can say"damn that hurts" trust me do it if its really what you want!

I am really into getting my eyebrow pierced. And most accounts I have read said that it doesn't hurt. I have also been told it doesn't hurt as much as your lobes... and I didnt even feel that. I am pretty syked up about it!!!

my brother wants a lip peircing for his birthday and i want to pay for it as a present and i would like to know how big the needle or w/e they put through your lip is and the aproximate cost of getting it done. i wouldn't mind if anyone had any other tid bits of information about it that could help me out. thanks

You should NEVER pierce your own eyebrow. Theirs so many ricks involved like hitting nerves. If you want it done you should do it but get it done by someone that has experience and knows how its supposed to be done. Ive pierced my ears 6 times myself but when its somewhere that a lot of things can go wrong you should get it done at a studio.

Yeah, I'm about to be fifteen and i want to get my right eyebrow pierced twice at the end. and i just want to know how bad it might hurt so i can tell whether i need my stress reliever ball, which might burst if it hurts. lol. I'm also going to get three piercings around the top of my ear. Please respond. i want to know whether or not it hurts for the eyebrow piercing ( i already know the upper ear piercing is going to hurt like f***ing heck... lol)

I have a question...I just got my lip pierced about 4 or 5 days ago....and its really sore...but im sure thats normal...but on the inside where the ring is theres like a white bump...is that normal? and i keep getting like greenish crusties on the outside...is that normal? i clean it like after i eat and like really often....so i think its staying clean..but im just weery as to if its infected or what not...

im going to get my eyebrow pierced sometime when im not to chicken lol. im not one whos up for the pain of being stabbed in the face with a needle but im goin to do it anyway. im a real wuss so im real scared some people are saying it hurt some are saying it doesnt, my boyfriend got his done but did it himself and he says it doesnt hurt but hes crazy so i really dont know. either way ima gunna do it, mayb take some painkillers lol i have no idea. wish me luck!!

i got a tat on my stomach bout 2 weeks ago, i didnt even relise that it will stretch when i get pregnant but its to late to worry now! gettin a tat is no big deal, it didnt hurt much. im also thinkin bout gettin an eyebrow peirce, but only if it hurts less than a tat! what hurts more?

First off, Don't pierce your eyebrow yourself Holly, you can paralyze your face if you hit a nerve, just pay the money. On the tattoo, my mom's stretched when she had my brother, don't do it if you plan on having a kid, wait until you have a kid. Coca, If you want a piercing, it should be worth going through 2 seconds of pain, if not, you don't want it enough. I personally would go for the brow, I have both, I found that the brow is easier to take care of and with the lip you have to carry around mouthwash for 6 weeks. The mouthwash isn't hard to carry, but trust me, you'll get tired of it. Hope that helps.

i have had both eyebrows pierced and they didn't hurt at all, u should get that done cos they don't leave much of a scar which tattoo's do and lip piercing hurt (i think) my eyebrow got infected and still didn't leave a scar go get that done, its relaxing! lol

Just got my lip pierced, right side bottom lip, and it didn't hurt at all. Just a little pain when the needle goes in but after like 5 minutes the pain was gone and haven't had any problems with it since

Well,if you ask me it would be best for you not to get a tatoo on your stomach!About the piercings- I have both my eyebrow and my lip(center) pierced...so if I have to compare those two...the eyeborw's nothing,I almost didn't feel it...but the lip...the lip is goddamn hell!It is very uncomfortable in the beginning,but you get used to it anyway... :) If you ask me,get an eyebrow piercing,you'll love it.It's for people like you...comfortable,not very painfull,and won't cause any problems...plus everyone will like it ;)

Your lip will hurt more then your eyebrow.
