I have a similar problem with lizards here in NC. Here's a bunch of stuff I got. Have you had any success? There is another remedy albeit not very aesthetic. Break raw eggs (chicken) and hang shells in the areas favoured by the lizards. Hello, to get rid of lizards is easy. Best is always keep the furniture 9 inches away from wall. Do not use frames of pics which have hiding spaces. One more simple remedy is put cut onion near wall. Usually lizards stay away from onion smell. How to get rid or stop them from being your permanent home residents? <http://www.tipsofallsorts.com/liz0.gif> 1 Paste scotchtape around places where lizards would usually enter or linger, eg, through windows, door gaps, rubbish chutes. Leave a substantial sticky part of the tape exposed to act as a "fortress" or "shield" against any approaching lizard. Replace fresh scotchtape once a lizard gets stuck onto it. 2 There are repellents available for you to spray or paint onto the walls or ceilings to make the surface so slippery that even the suction cups on the lizard's feet can't withstand. http://www.tipsofallsorts.com/liz1.gif 3 Sticky pads are also one way to get rid of them. Available in most supermarkets or hardware stores. 4 Lead them out of your premises with the help of a broom. 5 Splitz some sticky hair spray directly onto them, as if to immobilize before sweeping them out of the house immediately (if you can't bring yourself to smack). 6 Don't place furniture too near the wall. Leave a gap. Don't hang pictures or big mirrors too. The idea here is to create less hideouts for them. 7 Place fewer items on your kitchen top. 8 Mothballs may also drive them away. More pest control tips top Ammonia could be used but would kill plants and grass. I would prune back overgrown shrubbery in the area. The lizards prefer vegetation to hide in. My suggestion would be to use insect or rodent glue trays/boards. You can put out half a dozen of these and catch alot of the lizards, in fact the insect that get caught will probably draw them to the glue trays where they will get caught. If you are offended by glue trays, I don't know what may work, possibly moth balls could be used as a repellent. Whatever you do, when you feel you have cleaned them out, you should do some work to make sure your building is sealed up so that lizards cannot re-enter. This is the best and most cost effective long term solution.

Its all about temperature. Keep your house pretty cold and they wont come in. Lizards are happy in warm climates. Although you will run a higher electric bill, at least you wont have lizards.
