I have two labs, brother and sister who are seven.  Both of them cry out in their sleep.  This occurs quite a bit.  These are not just little cries, they are very sad.  The thing is, I've never punished them for anything, I've never hit them.  I use my voice to let them know if they are disobedient.  They are wonderful, well behaved dogs.  Our family life is relatively happy.  Since this nighttime crying out occurs so much, I'm trying to find out the cause, and how I can help?  Any response would be greatly appreciated.
