I need help with a dog with sinus Sadie has been on antibiotics, prednisone and shots of depomedrol. She has mucous coming out of her nose. Sadie is 4yrs, rescue dog, started this Oct./03 it is now May I am thinking about starting her on Benadryl. I am at my wits end with these vets. Nothing seems to help, she is just gaining weight with the depomedrol shots. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do. Please no more meds for Sadie

We have the same problem with a 10 year old Collie.  He has had every antibiotic available including some rather extreme ones usually reserved fro human, and we have given him prednisone as well yet the mucus remains.  We got no results from benadryl.  He remains vibrant and otherwise his immune system seems OK  We need some ideas on how to reduce or eliminate the mucus as well.  What did you find and what other suggestions does any one have
