World War One Report One reason America entered World War One ( The Great War ) is because the Germans sank the Lusitanian, but that is not the only reason. Another reason that America entering the war is money issues. If France and England lose the war than America wont get the money from selling all of their guns to those countries. The last reason America entered the war is the most important reason is to end all other wars in the world. �The war to end all wars.� President Wilson said. What the German did to the Lusitanian was horrible thing to do to America. I understand that they didn�t want us to give England weapons. They could have given America a warning before torpedoing us. If they did something like that again we would have entered the war sooner than a year before is was about to end. Now we are mad at Germany and we don�t take it to bad instill America thinks about their money. America�s money was doing well during the war from sell all the gun and equipment to France and England. But if France and England lost the war we wouldn�t be able to get our money from France and England, which we would have to go and take the guns back and that would be a big conflict. This was a big reason for entering the war. Now America has to think about the future reasons. If you could end all wars wouldn�t you? The final reason America joined World War I is because America wanted it to be the war to end all wars. If we could end all wars this whole world would be great. No more fighting about anything. No more killing of people. People don�t deserve to die over a war of countries hating each other. America entered the war for all of these reasons. The most important reason was to end all other wars in the world but that didn�t happen. All of these reasons were worth fighting for. Even though America was only in the war for a year these reasons were still important.

well i think that world war one started becuase people back then had no heart and didn't care whether people died or not...the people back then didn't cherrish life like we do now...people back then were heartless and they didn't care about nobody but themselves...giving them the word of thought that they could tell other people what to do and they didn't have to abide by noones rules except for their own...they used to think that killing people was the choice to take if u wanted all your problems to dissapear..but that wasn't the choice to go with...you still have those kinds of people today that just dont give a hoot about the people that are in this world and they just keep think to themselves..."maybe this world would be better if this person was dead or that person was dead..." so they just go out and kill whoever they wanna kill because they think that it is just ok to do such a horrible thing like that...thank you for your time to read my comment about the horrible people that started the war...

It was started in 1914. The event triggering it was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The people behind this assassination were a Serbian terrorist group known as, "The Black Hand." The Archduke was heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne so Austro-Hungarian gave Serbia, who it felt commanded the Black Hand to assassinate the duke, an ultimatem. Austro-Hungary was not satisfied with Serbia's response and on July 28, 1914 Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia. (The dukes assassination was on June 28, 1914.)

world war one was started in 1914 by a member of the "black hand gang". They were of serbian nationalists determend to help the serbians of bosnia break free from Austria-Hungary control. So when austria-hungary declared war on serbia France and England came to help, Germany and Italy came to help Austria-Hungary so basikly every one was in a world war

The world war started in 1914 and ended in 1918. The cause of the War was that the Sabain terrorist known as the "black hands" made a comment. They did not clearifly this so it started as what is now know as World war one!!

Austria-Hungary also made outragious demands that they were sure would lead Serbia to declare war, but Serbia accepted the demands, so Austria-Hungary declared war instead.

world war one started in 1914. One of the Main reasons of this dreadful war was because of a german submarine struck the ship known as the Lusitania with a torpedo and sunk the ship immediatly. this happened off the irish coast. 1,260 were killed. 128 of those people were Americans

World War one started in 1914 and ended in 1918. World War 1 started because of mainly two reasons. The first reason is because of Germany. Germany was trying to find out a way to attack and conquer Austria-Hungary. Of course since Germany was doing this everyone in Europe knew about it too. The tensions in Europe got really high. In 1914 Europe started to divide and get a weaker environment. They started to attack each other and mainly Germany(it wasn't a fight like a Civil War type fight).

no no no. you both have it all wrong, what triggered the war was the murder of Franz Ferdinand but they had no proof that it was Serbia. so they just went and thought that it was and declared war on Serbia. Russia did not like this so declared war on Austria. and so on and so on.
