I am thinking of getting a pug a poo. I don't know if anyone has this mix, but I was wondering about the personality/temperament of this mix? DO they seem to have more of one personality than the other or does it just depend on the dog?

You could almost certainly find a pug poodle mix at any animal shelter, as they are both very common breeds.

I have had a pugapoo for about 6 months and they are a wonderful dog. FULL of personality. He is not hyper, but is still playful. He calms down easily, and is very smart. He got 145/160 at Puppy School. Whenever I take him on a walk, everyone who walks by giggles at him because he is so funny and cute looking. He will be happy walking for an hour, or walking for 10 minutes. I love my pugapoo, he has made me so happy.

I have a pug-a-poo and he is so adorable. He has a pug body with long-ish poodle hair. He's a super happy dog, doesn't bark much and is really friendly.

I have a Male Pug a Poo who is about 6 months old.  He is an absolute pleasure.  Like any puppy, he has his hyper moments, but overall he is a mellow dog.  He is very affectionate in the morning, a little hyper before bed, and he loves to sleep.
The only problem: he is aggressive with other dogs. No matter what their size, he acts like he is the biggest, toughest dog around.  Does he bite these dogs?  No... but he sure loves to bark at them.  I would say that that is the worst thing he does.
He is almost potty-trained, (about 90%), he can sit, lay down, come, and knows his name.  He is very smart and easy to train.  He is also a terrific watch dog.
When I bought my puppy, I was worried about it because I did not know much about this bread, but I am happy I took the chance.  I hope this helps.  Good luck.

I have had my dog Bart for 4  years. He is cute and a very sweet dog. I would say they are great pet for anyone esp if you live in an apartment. They are well behaved dogs.

I have a pug a poo for sale. To be honest with you, he is wonderful. My mother fell in love with him but we can not keep all the puppies. The mother is a full blooded Chinese Pug and the father is a full blooded cream poodle. There were only two in the litter.I still have the little boy for sale. If anyone is really wanting one let me know, bmtwife@aol.com.

My pug-a-poo is 9 months and is very playful and easy to train. A lot of energy. He does not seem to be tempermental. Gets along with other dogs.

I have a 2 1/2 year old female pug-a-poo and I can honestly tell you she is a charmer.  They are highly intelligent and mischievious which is a good mix of the breeds characteristics.  She was stubborn to potty train however, which did cause some grief for the first year.  However, she finally seems to have it down.  They really are enchanting dogs with a hilarious personality.  I will say that my girl has some chiropractic troubles and has already had knee surgery for a torn ligament.  Besides that, she had numerous bladder infections and she will not go outside in bad weather.  Despite these troubles I believe I could not have found a more loyal and loving companion.

We have a pug-a-poo, she is almost 6 months old now and we called her Miss Diva. She is the most sweetest and loyal little girl we have ever had the pleasure to own. I would recommend her breed to any one..she is wonderful with children. Great as a watch dog as well, she will let me know when someone is at the door and on the phone.

Pug-a-Poos are liked by everyone who meets them! I know! I have one and his parents ( a pug mama and toy poodle papa) ...they've had three litters...every pup is a hit wherever he goes!
