Is there a company that makes/ or a place I could buy studs with posts short enough to work effectively in a tragus piercing?

I wouldn't recommend putting studs in a tragus piercing. I have one myself and if i want to wear something more discreet i usually wear a labret stud (that you would wear in a lip piercing).

Lots of companies allow you to choose a length for the post from anywhere from 6mm to 22mm.
