Test Director is a management tool that gives systematic control over the testing process.

if your using win runner,you can integrated to test director by using tools menu you can click test director command,otherwise you can going directly  to test director you can built the automated tool which you want to use.

Tset Director is a test management tool through which we can create test plan,bug tracking can be done,testcases can be maintained.

Test Director is a Test Management tool with provisions for test planning(and so test case management by different testers in an testing heirarchy) and execute the tests followed by evaluation of the results(map test cases to defects and finally track the defects) and control the application/product development and help in decission making by the defect review team and finally deliver a quality product/application.

this is test management tool. it helps quality assurance personnel plan and  organize the testing process. also u can create a database of manual and automated tests, build test cycles, run tests and report and track defects. u can also create reports and graph to help review the progress of planning test, running tests and tracking defect before software release.

  test director is nothin but the management tool thru which we can track the bugs and plan the test.and also we can store our .gui files test reprot from winrunner and action files from loadrunner in the test director, thereby make it simple to access if the environment is client server...
