what instruments are used during a live reggae band?

Hi,

the standard-instruments, which are used in a roots-reggae-band (the real reggae) are:

- drums
- lead guitar
- rhythm guitar
- bass
- percussion
- keyboard
(- singer
- background-singer)

All depends on the band. it's the beat, tempo, and rythm that defines the type of music it is. Reggae has more of a definition on beats 2 and 4. It also depends on the type of reggae. Roots, calypso, dance hall. but if you want the type marley used. Then

2 Kyera electric guitars, bass, keyboard, syntheniser, i'm guessing a sax maybe, depends on which songs uses which instrumnts. u doing a project? i h8 reggae. i wish we were doing rock music. gud luck! xxx
