how long will i have caffeine withdrawal if i stop coffe and tea..i need to quit..

Depending on your current level of caffeine intake, you may experience tiredness, irritability, "muddle-headedness" and most of all headaches for 20-48 hours, although in rare cases symptoms may persist up to seven days.

The headache can usually be alleviated with normal doses of over-the-counter analgesiscs.  Ask your doctor if you are unsure which analgesics (e.g. aspirin, paracetamol, ibuprofen) are safe for you.

Some people have also reported that the best way to go "cold turkey" is to spend a weekend at the beach sipping herbal tea.

depends how many cups u drink a day, slowly replace it with water and ur withdrawl is usually a week

I just stopped cold turkey and I was a heavy caffinee drinker.  3 - 5 cans of Coke a day, along with engery drinks every 2 days or so.  I had a headache for 5 days straight.  Nothing helped it.  But now it's gone, and not only do I feel better, My stomach is normal.

I quit drinking coffee about 30 days ago "Cold Turkey" and I'm still experiencing severe migrain headaches. I believe I'M a rare case with the longevity.
I was drinking abut 5-6 cups per day.
