CAN YOU GET A COP GIVE YOU A TICKET FOR 5 MILES OVER THE SPEED LIMIT IF HE WASN'T USING RADAR.

yes, they can pull you over, it's called "pacing" where they follow behind at the posted speed limit, and if you go faster than them they pull you and write a ticket for it.  The fact is that they disregard the possibility of your speedometer being off 4-5 mph or even THEIR's being OVER.  You now have two options.  If I recall each mph over the posted limit is 5$. so pay the 25$ and get over it, insurance wont rape you too bad.  Or you can get a speed calibration test which i think costs 30-50$ then go to court over it to debate with the prosecuting attorney.  In which case you would present the paperwork proving that your speedometer is 4-5 mph off from what it should be, and if he accepts it, then you're off the hook.  If he does NOT accept it, and the judge does not override his decision to not accept it, you will be paying the 30-50$ for the test, and 25$ ticket, and also the 60-100$ court costs.  Anywho's POLICE SUXXXX!!!! i'm outtie ^_^
