Im assuming when you say your creature is tapped, that you are attacking with it? A 2/2 vs a 1/2, the 2/2 takes 1 damage, and the 1/2 takes 2 damage and dies. 2/2 vs 2/2 they both take 2 and die. 2/2 vs 3/3 only the 2/2 dies.

If however your 2/2 creature is tapped and your opponent is attacking with one of those three creatures, nothing will happen to your creature because it's tapped and is unable to block.
