We are thinking about adopting a Jack Russel Terrier We have an RV and go camping every weekend.  Do JRT travel well? Do they like boating & water? How would they do being left alone for 2 hours in an RV?  thanks

JRT'slove being with you.  My own dogs, and the others that I know, love being in our boat, they travel, though one does get excited and car-sick.  Introduce them to both things slowly and see if they seem to enjoy it.  If you are boating, put a life preserver on the dog, they make special dog life preservers.  For your dog's safety, put it into a crate when you leave it alone in the R.V. You can get a good fold-up crate that you can store out of the way when not using it.
