We've had my dog for over a year, he is house trained, and only had 1 accident since we brought him home (the first day).  He is very skittish and gets frightened rather easily.  Ever since we got him we've allowed him to sleep on a particular chair in the living room.  Recently we had to get rid of the chair so we purchased a large dog bed for him to lay on and put it in the same spot as the chair, but it seems to scare him and he wants nothing to do with it.  Since then he has also urinated on my bed, only once but enough I had to purchase a new mattress.  What should I do?
