My sister had a GreenCard and she lived in US as a GreenCard holder for over 11yrs, then she got married to a Army officer in India and lives in India, she was mislead by few people to give up her card at the time of marriage. She did so and now she came to know that there is no such rule in India or US that a person holding a GreenCard cannot marry an Army Office which will effect his job?  Is this true and is there a way for her to get her Greencard back from US govt. Or she needs to apply for the GreenCard again?  Please help me!
