well....I dunno but if you have a parent you can get it as young as like 12-13 but I'm guessing with out a parent like 16-18

18 I just got mine pierced last month. If under age you need a parent with you to sign concent forms. If you live near Dallas this is where I went they are WONDERFUL, ask for Tasha. And no it didn't hurt. Obscurities. 4000-B Cedar Springs,Dallas Texas, 214-559-3706

how old would you have to be to get your belly button peirced in california? I am 13 years old, and me and my mom went to a body piercing place, but they said that i would have to be 16 to get it done. And i even had my mom there with me. Some of my friends have it pierced and they got it done professionally. was that place wrong? should i go to another one? and is 16 the actual age that you have to be even WITH the parents permission?

well...in some places you can have your belly button pierced at the age of thirteen. But you have to have an adult with you. You can have it done on your own at the age of sixteen. Some places won't let you get it done when until your fourteen and you can go on your own when your eighteen. I hope that helps xxx

It might depend on where you go to get it pierced, but in most places you have to be 18 or older to get anything peirced. :( I want to get my belly button pierced but I need to get surgical needles and a barbell

you must be at least 18 or accompanied by a legal guardian to recieve any body mods in Texas. just have mommy come along.

If you go to the place called Love or Hate you have to be 14-17 w/ a parent and 18+ w/o one...i'm getting mine done over the winter break for my school when i turn 14...

well probably between 14-18. Anybody who is younger then this might not be ready to take the responsibility of keeping it not getting any infection in it. People who are 14 and older can have pierced i think because they understand their body better and know what is healthy for their body. I'mnot saying anybody that is younger then 14 can not have their belly pierced. i think as long as you can be responsibility for your own body and your parents don't mind then what are you waiting for. But don't forget all the responsibility that comes with it.

I got mine done in Texas @ 16.My husband signed for me @ the time.Just dont get married to do it!I am now 24 & still have it (just not the husband!).

you can get it pierced at any age as long as you are with a parent/gaurdian, but if not you have to wait til your 16- but try southpaw in san antonio because they rock!

i am getting my bely button periced on by b-day i am trueing 14 and i wanted to know does it hurt t probably will no hurt to me because i have go a tongue ring and that did not hurt and i can take pain but everyone has been telling me it hurt eouger way i am going to get it done i just wanted to know if it really does hurt

well da legal age on your own to get it done is 14 but in some places they still want you to have an adult with you even though you are legal age?!? so i guess 16 on your own cuz sum places were lyk reeli cautious with me n my m8 bt yeh itz 14
