CAN TWO MALE RUSSELL'S BE KEPT TOGETHER OR IS IT UNWISE.

I have a 6 year old male who lives in perfect harmony with our old cat and two guinea pigs and in fact cleans and cares for them all.

He does not however like the male JR next door and is territorial over the boundary fence.

I keep hearing you should not keep 2 males as they will be aggressive to each other.

Is this true and am i taking unnecessary risks two both animals if I proceed down this path as I have found a male puppy of six weeks i would like to buy.
