I have been diving since the mid 70's, usually 75-100 tanks per year. I live waterfront on lake Travis in Austin, Tx and usually take 2-3 trips to Cozumel, Roatan, or Hondrus a year. Last Nov. I had a small CVA affecting my cerebellum. It never affected my balance, strength, or vision. I slurr my speech when I get really tired, and my handwriting is a little worse that before. So fine motor skills is about all that was affected. I am on Aggrenox, Avalide, and Toprol-xl. My neurologist is unable to tell me if I can continue diving, or a "diving neurologist" that I can consult with. Any suggestions?
