I have a male Maltese, Just turned two. My friend has the female Maltese and she is one. We are trying to mate them, but the male does not want to have anything to do with the female. The male is constantly on top of him and pulls his tail for attention but he snaps at her. Could you tell me why this is hap-ping.

she will have a swelled vulva and she will have discherge of blood and the male will show iterest in her wen she is ready she will stand very still and out her tail to the side and let the male mount her. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!

my yorkie had mystisly staid all week with this other yorkie when i came out i knew she was mating and i know i had to call somebody after that i saw her sypestems SNORING!!!!!! really loud not eating as much sleeps every 10 hours and is strangley love sushi . do you thing she is pregnant

My 2 year old pit is in heat for the 3rd time. I want her 2 mate and have puppies yet im afraid that she will no longer be pretty. She is such a diva (with her diamond earrings and rhinestoned collar,she even wears pantys with a pantyliner during her heat. But anyway she is now in heat again(as of 4/25/2007) atleast thats when she started bleeding... so when should i put her with the dog that i want her to mate with and whats gonna happen during the process?
