We have a stone fireplace that juts out here and there in an uniform pattern.  Right now I have pillows and a lg. piece of foam rubber propped up against the hearth.  However, my 18 mo. old delights in taking it all down.  How would I go about securing a stone fireplace hearth other than what I do now.  I am afraid he will fall into it and the pillow or foam might not be there to cushion the fall.
